Bridal Love

Love is the most powerful force on the earth. Have you ever thought about that? Have you considered what love really is? But more importantly, have you considered what it means to love the Lord with first love, bridal love?

Probably the most important thing in our lives right now is love mainly our first love for Jesus. This is the only love that will be able to bear up any and all things. First love is powerful force to be reckoned with. It the power of this love that nothing is greater. It’s power is greater than any sacrifice or suffering you will endure. 

You need first love to persevere. I want to stress to you how much God loves you. If you have never experienced loved of Father God, cry out now and ask Him to pierce your heart with first bridal love for Him. 

When His love touches you life you will begin to love Him intimately and fervently and nothing in this world can quench that love. First love is a gift. It is something you should pray for more than anything else. 

First love is also called bridal love. Jesus is the bridegroom and He is coming for us. We are His bride and each of us should possess bridal love for the Lord. 

Do you love the lord with bridal love? 

The love between the bride and a bridegroom is a human love and shadow of the love between us and Jesus. Its a love that pales in comparison. You love should be exclusive for Jesus. Bridal love is undivided like the love of a bride. The bride loves only her groom. She gives her whole heart to the bridegroom. 

Have you given the Lord all your heart, undivided? 

Jesus is coming for those with bridal undivided love for Him. Jesus planted this love in our hearts. It is there my friend. 

“We love, because He first loved us” – I John 4:19

The love of Jesus for you can achieve far, far more than all your natural abilities and strengths, for it is the greatest force in heaven and in earth. The love of Jesus, His bridal love is what constrained Him to suffer for the redemption of the whole world. Bridal love gives you grace to live this life and to love in this life. It also gives you the grace to sacrifice. It can give you such a strength because it makes you one with Him. There is unlimited grace in love.
