Where is Your Malta?

What is your MALTA??

What do you do when you are stuck and you want to give up because you don’t see any change in your life or your circumstance?

What do you do when answers do not come in your time frame and you don’t see what you been asking God for? What is for you when your heart is broken and you give up.  What happens when you are stuck… waiting on God?

A lot of us are there or have been there. We are waiting on God for the healing, that financial breakthrough, a spouse… etc.. but you must remember GOD IS FAITHFUL. He is who he says He is. 

Here is an answer.

God knows everything. So much so that God loves you too much to answer your prayer in your time.

 A great story about Paul is in Acts 27 and 28. 

Paul was in prison 2 yrs and wanted to go to Rome. He was a Roman citizen but was on a ship with other prisoners. But he himself was not a prisoner.  It was a one day trip to land him in Rome. But a storm came. Paul told those on board that the rest of the journey would be dangerous and loss would happen.

But they didn’t listen to Paul. He warned them. Then a storm came. For 3 days they fought in this storm and then they began to throw things over board. 

They were out there in the storm many days. How many of you have been in your storm many days? Bible says they saw no sun or stars. That is how it feels for some of you at times. Just utter darkness.  They lost all hope that they would be saved and finally gave up. Feel familiar? 

I know you and I have been there where it seems that there is nothing we can do all hope is gone. You may be saying that every day is dark, every day the enemy is running the game of life and you just give up or want to give up. Your heart can even be heavy.

After no food for long time the Bible says, Paul told them they should have listened to him. He told them no loss of life would happen just the ship would be lost because that night an angel came and told him that he must be brought before Caesar.

See, he had a mission. He had to be where he was supposed to and no storm would stop him. We are going to be on an island and lose almost everything but or lives because God said. 

God does us like that too. He will tell you where you will land, how a thing will play out and that you will not die, you will lose something or this will change or that but you will be spared.

So, when God tells you a certain thing will happen, it will happen and it must happen. Paul said it was told to him and it must be as it was told.

So what has God said to you? IT MUST BE AS IT WAS TOLD TO YOU. Hold on. Believe. It must be.

But you and I sometimes, are gonna go on a certain run around.  We are gonna suffer. (we hate that part) But we are gonna come through it. Paul was there because they didn’t listen to him. Sometimes were are somewhere because someone wouldn’t listen.

You and I have situations where we say it didn’t have to be this way. It didn’t have to work out like this. If you had listened to me we would have been sparred this debt, divorce, child problem, loss of home etc… but you didn’t listen. That other person didn’t listen.  

You can be in the middle of Gods will ladies and a storm can be around you. Paul was in God’s will but a storm came and a storm didn’t stop it.  This tells you no storm will keep you stuck and stop you. You may be faceing overwhelming circumstances in your home, job, family, health, etc. But God can turn it around.

Now they were in this storm, out there in the night for 14 nights. Paul was arrested,  jailed. shippedwrecked then safe, then finally bitten by a snake.  

How about you? You been in a battle with the devil and you finally breathe and the season is over only to then go into another battle with a snake this time just as Paul. The snake bit him and he shook it off. Why? Because the angel told him is real destination a this Malta was not it. He was going to be in Rome.

The enemy has not won.. He is defeated. Shake it off. 

There are people watching your word,  your life, your story to see what is happening in your life. 

You have to know where you are going? So the question is, where is your Malta?

 Where is your place that you got stuck? The foreign place that you are not really supposed to be but you are there? This place where God will use you, even though you not supposed to be there. 

Malta is about allowing God to use you in the  season or place He has you. It may be the loss of marriage,  home, a waiting place or new job. Malta is your proving ground. Opportunities can be on Malta. 

You can be used in you Malta. Are you willing to be used or complain in that which you are stuck in. The place you didn’t want to be in. That place you didn’t plan on that God didn’t cause but He will use it.

Let God use your Malta,  the place you didn’t expect to be in. That unfamiliar place of the unkown.
