Discovering your Purpose in the Red Sea moment of Life

Did your Red Sea part yet? If not, do not give up. Your battle is not about you. If you want to know what it’s really about keep reading?

We all have that impossible Red Sea situations in our lives that just won’t budge or so it seems. How many times have you stepped out in faith only to be met with nothing but disappointment and failure and defeat.

The enemy speaks to you that you heard wrong. You must have missed God on that. The first thing we think when we find defeat and failure is that we must have missed God. We have come to believe that hearing from God is always evidenced by experiencing immediate victory.  Not true!

God is a God of purpose, and your purpose has a lot to do with what you are facing and going through. The battle is not about the trial but about God’s name and reputation and your purpose in it. 

But there are times you will hear from God and realize an immediate victory and sometimes God speaks you to stand and walk out on the water knowing that you will sink. Why? Why does He do that? 

There are many battles that make up a war. Many of you have allowed the devil to convince you that since you have lost battles that God is not in you winning your war. Many of you stood for healing and not realized the healing yet and sowed seeds and not gotten the harvest. And, because you experience failure in your battle you let the enemy convince you that God doesn’t want you to win the war.

But the Lord said it doesn’t matter how many battles you lose you can lose 150 in a row but win the right battle to win the war. 

Knowing your “why” you exist knowing your purpose will greatly help you win the war and know who to fight the battles you need to fight. God is a God of war and good at it. Your purpose is why you go through the trials. God wants all the glory and your trial is about His namesake. Learning your purpose will make the trials more bearable and victorious.
