Who are you in Christ?
Identity is very important. I have discovered that as I talk to a lot of women — a lot of you don’t know your identity in Christ.
We live in a world that tells us our identity is in this thing or that thing. It tells us that our identity is in beauty, our bodies or a man. But that is not true. We see so much of who the world wants us to be that we have lost sight on our real identity in Christ.
There are so many voices that speak daily to us and sway many of us. We have to focus on Christ and His words more than ever. The truth of the scriptures keeps us on the right path. It contains our real identity and strength. It is our hope in a hopeless word. It is our hope in the darkness of the night of our soul when people leave us and the world screams you are alone.
Life can get very hard without Christ. Actually, it will be impossible to live in peace. The following scriptures are only a few that contain truths about your identity and who Christ is to you personally every single day. Jesus is a personal God. He is your friend. More importantly, He is your Savior.
Read them, memorize them, copy them, highlight them in your Bible and let them speak deep into your soul. Focus on these when you feel discouraged, lost, without hope and wandering.
Let them speak a deep truth to you about who you are, where you identify and whose you are.
